Q. How can you offer rates for such good value?

A. Our hotels don't offer services such as valet car parking, porters, turn-down service or concierge - all extra costs that guests pay for through higher room rates.

 

Q. Do your lower rates mean lower standards?

A. No, not at all. In fact we pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our rooms and quality of amenities provided such as air  conditioning, iron/ironing boards and hairdryers. And our friendly front-desk staff are more than happy to arrange a restaurant booking or provide information on sightseeing.

 

Q. Do you offer Corporate rates?

A. Yes, however you must be a regular guest and open an account with us. Contact us, or click here for more information.

 

Q. Why do you ask for my Credit Card details when I make a reservation?

A. This is so we can guarantee your reservation. If you don't have a credit card, we require a deposit to be sent to us - see our Reservations Terms & Conditions. (We do not charge your card until you check-out, and all details can only be accessed by authorised personnel.)

 

Q. What Payment Options to I have?

A. We accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, Farmers Card & JCB), and company cheques with ID. Sorry, we do not accept personal cheques. If you are a regular guest you may wish to open a business account - please contact us for an application form or click here for more information.

 

Q. Do you offer Smoking Rooms?

A. No, for the enjoyment of our guests, we do not allow smoking in our guest rooms or anywhere inside our hotels. However, you can ask for your room to be located near an outdoor exit so that you can go outside easily.

 

Q. Do you offer Access Rooms?

A. Yes, we offer rooms with additional facilities for the disabled and these are located on the ground floor for easy access. Please enquire when booking.

 

Q. Can I earn Rewards Credits on group bookings?

A. No, Rewards Credits can only be awarded to the quest staying in the room, and only if they are a Ventura Rewards member.

 

Q. How much do you charge for parking?

A. Nothing - overnight parking is free, just like our local telephone calls and buffet breakfast. At our Auckland Airport hotel we provide up to 14 days free long-term parking for guests.

 

Q. What time does reception close?

A. We're open 24 hours, so you can check-in any time after 2pm.

 

Q. What is your check-out time?

A. Please check-out by 11am.

 

Q. Why am I charged for using the Dial-up Internet from my room?

A. Dial-up modem calls to Internet Service Providers (ISPs) are classed as business calls which we are charged for by our telecommunications provider. Like most hotels we pass this charge onto you with a small mark-up. (There is no charge if your ISP has a 0800 freephone number for connection).

 


 

Reservations Terms & Conditions:

Quoted Rates
Rates quoted in your reservation are based on the selected number of occupants and length of stay and any alterations to these details may affect the nightly rate charged when you check-in.

Guaranteed Reservations
A valid credit card is required to guarantee all bookings. We accept all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club & JCB. Your card will not be charged until check-out, but is held as security for your reservation and utilised for any applicable cancellation or non-arrival charges. This card may also be used for any charges remaining unpaid on check-out.

Deposit Policy
A deposit is not required if you provide a credit card to guarantee your reservation. If you do not have a credit card, a deposit to the value of one-nights accommodation is required to guarantee your reservation. The payment may be made by cheque or direct credit. If paying by cheque, please allow enough time to clear. Group deposit policies are different - please enquire. 

Check-in / Check-out
Check-in is from 2pm. Your room may be available prior to this time, however we cannot guarantee access before 2pm. Check-out is 11am.  Early check-in or late check-out may be available by arrangement subject to availability and an additional charge.

Payment at check-in
A valid credit card will be requested from the occupant of the room when checking in. Payment via third party credit cards may be arranged in advance by contacting the hotel directly. For guests without a credit card, photo ID will be requested and full cash payment of accommodation plus a bond for incidental charges will be required at check-in. Bonds vary by length of stay.

Cancellation
Cancellations may be made up until 5pm on the day of arrival for no charge. After this time rooms cancelled will be charged to the value of one night's accommodation.

*** Please note that from 8 September 2011 to 24 October 2011 inclusive, cancellations must be made no later than 48 hours prior to check-in to avoid a cancellation charge of one night's accommodation being made. ***

By making a reservation you agree to these terms and conditions and you acknowledge that the named guest will be personally liable for all accommodation and incidental costs charged to the room after check-in, for any loss or damage to the room during their stay, for any cancellation or non-arrival fees, and for any debt collection costs incurred.
